Foot & Ankle Pain

Foot and ankle pain can present as sharp, tight, achy, or jolting sensations—often striking during the first steps in the morning, after long walks, or during high-impact workouts. Even after trying supportive shoes, orthotics, stretches, or rehab following surgery, many people still find the discomfort lingers.

These symptoms are often associated with conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon pain, tight calves, tarsal tunnel syndrome, scar tissue from surgery, or lingering effects of prior ankle sprains.

You might notice:

  • A sharp pain in the heel when taking your first steps in the morning.

  • Heel pain when standing up after sitting for a long time

  • Aching arches or heels during long walks or runs

  • Pain at the beginning of a run that eases as you warm up (a sign of tendon overload)

  • Persistent calf or Achilles tightness that never thoroughly loosens up.
