Chronic Low Back Pain

Chronic low back pain is a common condition that often worsens during activities such as sitting, bending, standing, or lifting. Whether caused by a disc bulge, herniated disc, or pinched nerve, the discomfort can linger for months and make everyday life tough.

We treat a range of issues, including lumbar disc injuries, degenerative disc disease, sciatica, facet joint irritation, SI joint dysfunction, and tight hip flexors (psoas). Many of our patients have been told their MRI appears normal or have tried physical therapy, chiropractic care, or injections without experiencing lasting relief.

You might notice:

  • Sharp pain getting out of a chair

  • Lock-up or spasm when bending down

  • Pain after sitting for more than 20 minutes

  • Morning stiffness that takes time to loosen

  • Numbness or tingling in the glutes or legs

  • Discomfort standing, twisting, or walking

A common but often overlooked problem is adhesions—bands of tissue that develop within muscles or around nerves, limiting movement and adding strain to nearby areas. Even though they don’t show up on scans, adhesions are surprisingly common and can be treated.
