Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

At this time, we are a private-pay practice.

We believe your health is one of the most important investments you can make. When you invest in yourself, you’re choosing long-term function, mobility, and quality of life — not just short-term symptom management.

Private pay allows us to:

    •    Focus fully on your care, not insurance limitations

    •    Spend the time needed to properly assess and treat adhesions

    •    Customize your treatment plan based on your body’s needs

    •    Provide care without restrictions on techniques or session structure

Many of our patients have spent years navigating appointments, referrals, and treatments that didn’t provide lasting relief. Investing in targeted, specialized care can often save time, frustration, and long-term costs associated with chronic pain.

Your body carries you through every season of life. Prioritizing your health is not an expense — it’s an investment in your future comfort, movement, and freedom.

If you have questions about pricing or packages, we’re happy to discuss options with you.

What are adhesions?

Adhesions are areas where soft tissue becomes restricted or stuck together when it should move freely.

Your muscles, fascia, nerves, and connective tissue are designed to glide smoothly over one another. When adhesions form, they create tight, sticky restrictions that limit movement and often contribute to pain.

Many cases of chronic pain that appear “normal” on imaging are actually related to these soft tissue restrictions.

What do adhesions look like?

Healthy tissue is smooth, elastic, and mobile.

Adhesed tissue tends to feel:

    •    Thickened

    •    Rope-like or gritty

    •    Bound down

    •    Less flexible

    •    Restricted in glide

You can think of healthy tissue like silk — smooth and flowing.

Adhesed tissue behaves more like Velcro — sticky and resistant.

Over time, these restrictions can pull on surrounding muscles and joints, affect posture, compress nerves, and create pain patterns throughout the body.

How do I know if adhesions could be causing my pain?

If you experience:

    •    Chronic tightness that never fully resolves

    •    Pain that shifts or spreads

    •    Limited movement in one area affecting another

    •    Symptoms that don’t match imaging findings

    •    Frustration after trying multiple treatments

Adhesions may be contributing to your discomfort.

A proper evaluation can help determine whether this approach is right for you.

How do adhesions form?

Adhesions can develop from:

    •    Injury (even small or old injuries)

    •    Surgery

    •    Repetitive strain

    •    Poor posture

    •    Chronic inflammation

    •    Stress

    •    Lack of movement

    •    Old unresolved tissue trauma

When the body heals after stress or injury, it lays down collagen fibers. If those fibers don’t align properly, they can bind tissues together instead of restoring smooth movement.

The restriction may not cause symptoms immediately — sometimes pain shows up months or even years later.
